Federal Court bars soldiers from polling stations during forthcoming election

A Federal high court sitting in Lagos has banished the Federal Government from deploring troops to direct the pending general elections.‬

Conveying judgment on a suit recorded by Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, an individual from the House of Reps speaking to Surulere Federal Constituency 2 on the stage of the APC against the President, Chief of Defense Staff, Chief Of Army, Chief of Air Force, Chief of Naval Staff and Attorney General of Federation, the directing judge, Justice Ibrahim Buba said it was illegal to send military for the supervision of race purposes without the approbation of the national assembly
