Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has called on president Muhammadu Buhari to release the Director of pirate radio, Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
“I call on @MBuhari to release Nnamdi Kanu. It is unlawful to keep anyone in detention for more than 3 days without charging him to court.” he said via Twitter.
DAILY POST reports that Kanu was arrested on Saturday by Nigeria’s secret police, the Department of State Services (DSS).
Meanwhile, Leader of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, has disowned Kanu, saying that he has since been expelled from the movement his over unguarded statements.
Is FFK d new spokesman for MASSOB ?
I tire oo
FFK was once in government, when he was there he knew that its the President that usually order for an arrest of their percieved enemy but, he should be reminded that the system has changed, DSS and EFCC is no longer a toothless bulldog like before, so he should direct his ranting to the DSS not President Buhari.
