Briefing journalists on the kidnap incident, Mr. Abdullahi Garba, who did not disclose his designation, stated that the abductors were “mere criminals”. He said the main suspect, who collected the N5 million ransom, was on the run, even as he gave the names of the two suspects paraded as Abdullahi Usman (aka Kadiri) and Babawuro Kato.
Previous Secretary to the Federal Government, Chief Olu Falae, paid a ransom of N5 million, to secure his freedom from his abductors.
The Department of State Services (DSS), made the exposure in Abuja Monday, while parading two of the suspected kidnappers-, who coercively took the previous Presidential hopeful of the Alliance for Democracy (AD).
Falae was abducted from his Farm situated at Ilado town in Akure, the Ondo State capital, on September 21.

He said the fundamental suspect, who gathered the N5 million payoff, was on the run, even as he gave the two’s names suspects paraded as Abdullahi Usman (otherwise known as Kadiri) and Babawuro Kato.
