Barbaric act: Man sets his partner on fire after she went for a party

A man distinguished as Keji Osunjirin, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has been captured after he set his significant other ablaze by pouring petrol he brought home in a jerry can on her since she goes to a family party he cautioned not to go to. His wife kicked the bucket in the healing facility from serious blazes.

According to their neigbours who spoke to Premium times, the husband arrived home late at night with a container of petrol, hours after they had a quarrel. He attacked his wife after she refused his instructions not to attend a family party.

The man reportedly rushed his dying wife to the hospital after realizing the havoc he caused, they said. However, according to the man, he mistakenly threw the petrol can on his wife after it caught fire in his own hands saying the petrol was meant for his generator
