Man who poisoned himself after slitting the throat of his wife at Oshodi, Lagos, is dead

In the early hours of May, 27, 2016, over infidelity issues, Jafaru Sougie allegedly slit the throat of his wife, Roseline, with a knife, while she was sleeping. He then swallowed some poison, to end his own life, but he was apprehended before he succeeded.

Jafaru died this morning at a Police hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos, where he was being treated for the poison he ingested. According to rights activist, Dr Joe Odumakin, who shared the pictures of his corpse on twitter, Jafaru, lost weight and physical size everyday till he died this morning, leaving their 4 children orphaned.
