The Police High Command Monday joined other security agencies in calling Nigerians to be security cognizant and careful amid the Yuletide season and cautioned all residents to be extra alert while getting endowments from obscure persons that may act like companions amid the season, to maintain a strategic distance from explosive-laden hampers as blessings.

Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase who gave the notice in an announcement, additionally advised against the utilization of fireworks, for example, knockout, “bangers” and different explosives in the festivals as they could bring about diversion that may further uplift trepidation of frailty.
