Russian special military operation in the Ukraine – Day 20

First, some rather amazing “housekeeping” news.  I spoke with our webmaster today and he told me that our traffic is now about 10 MILLION pages served per month.  On average, we have between 1’000 and 1’300 users connected to our servers at the same time.  So the good news is that the blog is booming.  The bad one is that this will pull our IT costs even further.  However, thanks to the generous support from our Saker Community, right now we have the funds needed to pay for all this – so, again, a huge THANK YOU to all those who helped!

Now let’s turn to the news of the day.

Yesterday the Ukronazi authorities promised a major counter offensive.  It did happen, but only in the virtual space.  In real space there were a few very limited attacks which were quickly dealt with by the Russian/LDNR forces.  The one success for the Ukrainians is a accurate MLRS strike on a Russian forward airfield near Kherson where at least three helicopters, 2 refueling trucks and 11 automobiles were hit and seen burning (no human losses).  Remember that the Ukronazis still have Smerch/Tornado MLRS which have a max range of 90km, which allows them to strike very far away from Ukrainian lines and deep inside/behind Russian lines.  The good news is that such MLRS rockets are not too hard to intercept.  I don’t know what happened last night, but this incident suggest to me that Russia needs to bring in more air defenses to deal with this threat.

This attack on the airport was, apparently, part of that promised “major counter offensive” which, in spite of that successful strike, did not move forward by an inch.

Remember the Russian Black Sea Fleet ship “sunk” by the Ukie MLRS?  Here it is  entering the bay of Sevastopol today:

I would say that for a burned, sunken and, then, supposedly salvaged from the bottom of the sea, this ship seems to be in mint condition 🙂

In the meantime, the White House is promising to send the Ukraine attack drones, longer-range anti-aircraft system, 800 stinger anti-aircraft missiles, 9,000 anti-tank missiles and 7,000 small arms – plus 20 million rounds of ammunition.

Wait, did I read that correctly? Eight HUNDRED Stinger missiles sent to Nazis and Wahabis in the Ukraine and nobody in the entire EU has the brains to connect the dots and understand what that means for the EU?

As I said, the Eurorodents are suicidal, maybe I should call them the Eurolemmings?

This also begs the question of where all that hardware will go.  My bet?  Poland.  And then most of it will stay there, and only small parties of hardware will be brought in.  Why?  Because any major weapons dump or concentration of forces will end up like the massive NATO based in Iavorov 24 hours ago.

Furthermore, 7’000 small arms pumped into a country where the Nazi regime has opened all its weapons stores to anybody who wants it will only make things worse…  …for the Ukrainian people.

So, this is again the typical US American “feel good” PSYOPs which serve no other purpose than to obfuscate from the clueless public in Zone A what is really happening on the ground.

The same article brings some interesting statistics:  “President Biden is expected to announce an additional $800 million in military aid for Ukraine, which would bring the total US support up to $1 billion in the last week alone, and more than $2 billion since Biden took office“.

Today, I want to conclude (maybe temporarily) with the following thought:

Since the Russian ultimatum late last year, all the Empire of Lies has done is double down, then double down again, then double up some more.  Worse, it gave itself absolutely no room for negotiations by declaring that what it seeks is a total victory against Russia and “Putin” personally.  Now consider this:

• The clear and unambiguous goal of the Empire of Lies is to “cancel Russia”
• Russia cannot take a single step backward, her back is to the proverbial wall
• No matter what Russia does, the Empire of Lies will double down, over and over again
• Russia has enough nuclear and conventional weapons to wipe out both the EU and the US
• The leaders of the Empire of Lies chose to pretend like they don’t know that or, alternatively, that Russia will never dare strike militarily at NATO and/or the USA

To me, this seems to be headed towards a full-scale military confrontation (conventional and nuclear) between the Empire of Lies and Russia.

Can that be avoided?

You tell me, and if you think it can, please outline exactly *how* this outcome can be avoided.

Not by any action of the Eurolemmings, that is for sure.  Then how (if at all)?

Day 20, a few short updates

Putin made an important speech today which the Russians officials are in no hurry to translate.  So here is a machine translation from Boris Rozhin (aka Colonel Cassad): (only partial extracts from the full transcript, emphasis added by me, Andrei)
