Sambo Dasuki, previous national security adviser(NSA), has asked the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) high court to stop his trial for the refusal of the central government to comply with a request of the court granting him bail.
In December 2015, Dasuki was granted bail by Yusuf Baba, justice of the FCT high court; while at Kuje jail in Abuja, Dasuki perfected the conditions of his bail, however agents of the Department of State Services (DSS) allegedly whisked him away to an unknown area.
On Friday, Joseph Daodu, Dasuki’s legal advisor, said that he had neither seen his client nor met with him since he was taken into detainment by the DSS. He in this manner implored the court to stay proceedings for the situation until the federal government consented to its request.
