Officials of EFCC are raiding the residence of former Governor of Lagos state, Akinwumi Ambode, in Epe, Lagos state.

The Anti-graft agency had couple of weeks back frozen N9 billion traced into one of many official of Lagos government who served under him.

The residence of the former governor’s chief of staff in the same Epe neighbourhood was being searched.

About a couple of weeks ago, multiple bank accounts holding billions and associated with Mr Ambode were frozen as linked to the alleged corruption probe.
