Lagos State Introduces New Vehicles To Eliminate Danfo (pic)

Mobereola said with the presentation of the new method of transportation, danfo transports would be displaced financially as Lagosians would be left to pick between extremely less expensive method for transportation and costly danfos.

The chief said Lagosians would preferably line up to board transports at less expensive rate than what the danfos would offer, therefore, displacing them financially, including that a portion of the current danfo drivers had effectively entered into the project.

He said the National Union of Road Transport Workers had effectively given government its backing for the project.
