Nigeria’s Economy Is Not Entering Recession – CBN

Says Nigerians unmindful of the bank’s exercises.

The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, amid the weekend discredited the fears for alarm being communicated by a few partners that the country’s economy may be entering recession. The apex bank however expressed that the country’s economy is being rebuilt as per the progress of the global economy.

Speaking with newsmen in Osogbo at a meeting authorities of the bank held with the people of Osun state, Mr. Babatunde Okulaja, assistant director, Development and Finance Department of the bank, said one of the late advancements of CBN to rebuild the economy is an activity called Produce Add Value and Export, PAVE.
