He said, “Seriously, in a corrupt ridden country like Nigeria, until the penalty for corrupt practices in government, and even private firms is a “DEATH PENALTY” for any one found guilty of it, there is no chance of a civil change from corrupt practices to a high sense of probity and integrity. We are all deluding ourselves and living in cloud cuckoo land if we still believe jobbery, venality and unabashed corruption in government can be eradicated with the present democratic dispensation in Nigeria.”
