A current Senate report notes that the 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and 2016-2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class coupe and convertible, in addition to various 2016 and 2017 Ferrari models like the FF, California T, 488 GTB, 488 Spider, F12, F12tdf and GTC4 Lusso, will undoubtedly be susceptible to recalls by the end of 2018. The vehicles however, are legal to be sold as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said they’ll not become potentially unsafe until confronted with high humidity for a long time. Safety advocates and some in Congress, however, are criticizing the sale of the vehicles.
