The first Chemistry textbook in Yoruba

Publishing the first Chemistry textbook in Yoruba is not a small feat. I personally understand the huge efforts that would go into producing this piece of intellectual work by the author, Ahmad Tijani Akanni Azeez.

Precious Lawrence wrote:

“This is a Groundbreaking Achievement in Yoruba Language Science Education

On “Chemistry in Yoruba” and the pioneering “Chemistry Dictionary in Yoruba” by Ahmad Tijani Akanni Azeez. This innovative work is set to revolutionize science education in Yorubaland and beyond.”

Congratulations to the author.

“It brings so much joy to see that my dream to write a book on “Chemistry in Yoruba” is progressing each day. As a pioneer of teaching of chemistry in Yoruba, it’s become necessary that I spice it up by publishing a book as a guide- starting from our secondary school level. This book when completed and published will serve as an “Exam Key Point” for any science student aiming to gain a full-time admission into the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education and those of Technology.

It gladdens my heart every single day I add an input to the work. Give me time, It will become a success and you’ll be proud.

Recall that I have just published the first-ever, “Chemistry Dictionary in Yoruba” on Yorubaness website.
I have the conviction that Yorubaland will become a hub of science and technology as a direct benefit of implementation of teaching Chemistry and other Sciences in the indigenous Yoruba language across South-West, Itshekiland, Kwara state and Kogi West.”
