What are ways to protect Ori against negativity be it internal or external?

What ways enhance learning and ability to memorize ?
What traditional religious acts should we do to strengthen our head. To also make it open to accepting new concepts that might enhance our growth. Is protection necessary at all ,if so why or why not?
