Ife Chiefs confirm the passing of Ooni of Ife, begin burial rites

The Ife conventional council  in Osun State today  affirmed the passing of the Ooni of Ife, Okunade Sijuwade Olubuse II. Speaking  through the Awara of Iwara-Ife, Chief Layi Adereti, the council of chiefs said the official decree of the passing of the Ooni who passed on July 28th, would be made on Wednesday August twelfth.
