President Bola Tinubu signed Nigeria’s 2026 Appropriation Bill into law on April 17, 2026, approving an aggregate expenditure of ₦68.32 trillion. The budget allocates ₦15.8 trillion to debt service, ₦15.4 trillion to recurrent expenditure, ₦32.2 trillion to the Development Fund for Capital Expenditure, and ₦4.799 trillion to statutory transfers.
