Drama: 65-Year Old Man Sees Own ‘Obituary’ In Edo

A hotelier, Mr. Clifford Osawaru, got the stun of his life when he got calls from family and companions asking as to whether he was really dead.
The calls came after notices declaring his passing were pasted on a few avenues in Okunmwun community, Ovia North East neighborhood government zone of Edo State. Osawaru, 66, who was noticeably shocked, said he was surprise that people could report his passing and entombment plan while he was still robust and generous. The hotelier clarified that he had been at loggerheads with a few individuals from the community over illicit sale of Land.

The father of 13 said his fight with the people began after he went to court to restrain them from participating in unlawful sale of the Land area without the assent of elders‎. He encouraged the police to unmask the offenders behind the act.
