Saudi Arabia Chair of UN Human Rights: Sentences woman to death by stoning for adultery but the man gets off with just 100 lashes

A wedded 45-year-old Sri-Lankan lady who has worked in Saudi Arabia as a house keeper since 2013 has been sentenced to death by stoning for committing infidelity with a kindred Sri-Lankan vagrant, the man meanwhile gets only 100 lashes on the grounds that he was single at the time. Sri Lanka is calling an absolution.

Upul Deshapriya, representative for the nation’s Foreign Employment Bureau, told the Thomson Reuters Foundation that the authority has contracted legal advisors to record a bid in the stunning case.
