The tower which is located in central London has a 900 year old history as a royal palace, an arsenal, a treasury, a menagerie making it London’s first zoo, a public records office and was reputed as a fortress for holding prisoners. The tower remains one of Britain’s major tourist attraction till date and is preserved as a World Heritage Site.
