Kwaku Asante, a Ghanaian citizen based in Germany, publicly talked about the difficulties he faced traveling to Europe and after hustling for several years without making any significant headway, he now wants to return home.
Speaking in an interview with SV TV Africa, Kwaku Asante revealed that he risked his life to travel to Germany in pursuit of greener pastures.
He said that as a result of his illegal immigration, he was frequently detained in several nations and that he was made to serve more than a year in prison.
After settling in, the Ghanaian man compared the cost of living in Germany and Ghana and realized that the latter had a lower cost of living and if he gets a tipper truck to work with, he will return to Ghana.
“I’ll go back to Ghana as soon as I get my hands on a vehicle,” he said. It costs 30,000 euros, and if I am successful in getting it, I won’t be staying here or going anyplace else except to Ghana.”
