Lady cries out over corpse of a mentally challenged woman being abandoned

Lady laments about how the corpse of a mentally challenged woman has been abandoned on a Lagos street for over two days.  She wrote ‘My Lamentations are plenty this morning ? on my way to the office this morning, I kept my head low cause I knew she was still there and I didn’t want to see. The driver asked me when it happened….

I grudgingly answered “friday night stroke Saturday morning”. Then he said but she’s a mad woman ?and I went off on him. Even if she’s mad….so what??? This woman was alive and sane as at Friday, got to the beginning of my sister’s street, slumped and died.

Her husband and herself have been calling 112 since then and no one has come to move the body. I called 112 myself yesterday and they promised to alert the appropriate authorities. Still nothing has been done.M sure her family is looking for her. M sure she’s someone’s mother, sister or friend. It’s been raining all weekend and her body has been there. Her body is at Ikate elegushi on that Spar road. Please help repost so the appropriate authorities will be forced to come carry the body. There’s no value for life in this country.
