Old Woman who Buys & Sells Baby For ₦1 Million In USA, Nabbed

A 60-year-old grandma, Asabi Adebayo, has told the Oyo State Police Command that she had a flourishing child trafficking ring where she purportedly purchased five infants for the incredible sum of N5 million, at N1 million for each infant, with the sole motivation behind taking the children to the United State of America, available to be purchased.

Adebayo who included that she had lived a large part of her life in the USA, said she purchased the children from a child trafficker situated in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The suspect, subsequent to purchasing the children, conveyed them to a shelter in Ibadan, and was presently getting a certified police report for them in readiness for moving them abroad before she was caught.

Parading Adebayo at the state police central command at Eleyele, Ibadan, the Commissioner of Police, Leye Oyebade, said the lady would have gotten away if not for the patriotic effort of the authorities of the officials house who reported the matter at the Iyaganku Police Station
