A mysterious creature found in Aussie (Photo)

A baffling animal that looks more like a creature out of a myth book as opposed to a genuine animal was discovered washed shorewards on the banks of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales in Australia.

Ethan Tipper snapped a picture of the animal before presenting it online on check whether anybody could distinguish it.

The animal has a long, slim body with scales and a tail like a crocodile without any legs, a head formed like a dolphin’s and a mouth brimming with well sharpened sharp teeth. Can anyone identity  this creature ?
