About Egungun (The Ancestral Spirits)

There is a concrete believe in the existence of spirits of the departed ancestors,this kind of believe is the foundation of the diety called Egungun. Egungun (the ancestral spirits) are believes that the souls of one’s departed father, mothers, grand parent or great grand parents are never goes into extinction,that these departed souls are always available to protects, show care and affection, guard and guide their love ones or members of their family or community who are still alive. There are different types of Egungun in IFA spirituality.
