“Until Africans, like the Chinese, the Koreans, the Japanese, the Russians, the French, the Singaporeans, etc start teaching their children in their own native language; until we Africans start directing the minds of our fellow Africans in their own language, until we Africans start affirming our pride, our self hood, our history, our talents, our culture and our identity solely in our own language – the language our people truly breath, eat and understand, we shall never see real progressive development.
