Amnesty Program:Buhari Approves Payment Of ₦65,000 Per head To All Ex-Niger Delta Millitant

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the process for the CBN, to start installment of N65,000 to every previous activists in the Niger Delta. In an electronic mail on Friday, the Head of Media and Communication of the Amnesty Program, Mr. Daniel Alabrah, clarified that the Apex bank started paying the money to each of the recipients of the Amnesty Program on Friday.

Alabrah further uncovered that the office would begin installment of the remittances and in-trainin fees for agents after a continuous verification exercise.

While indicating out that the outstanding recompenses would be paid in batches, he uncovered that the remittances for May was being paid while those for June and July would be paid later.It will be recalled that the Federal Government suspended installment of salaries and allowance to those under the Amnesty Program at the initiation of the Buhari Administration on May 29.
