Concerned Nigerian gets sad of thieves making money in Nigeria via the pulpit

I keep getting sad because of the thieves that make money in Nigeria through the pulpit; there are now mobile apps for paying tithes and special offerings for most of the big churches.
I am not a religious person but I have studied the Bible in detail and a special emphasis on the life of Jesus Christ so I know that these African pastors are not like Jesus; they are criminals and very dangerous persons that the public should hold in suspicion always.
I could easily use my knowledge of scripture which is available to every African to open up a lucrative church venture but that would be like the Ponzi scheme MMM and the latest ultimate cycler.
You know these things are wrong and it’s akin to stealing but pastors continue collecting tithes and offerings.
As a Christian, ask yourself these questions;

(A) Did Jesus ever collect tithes, and monetized statutory offerings in his ministry?
The answer is NO, with the uppercase so as to make that clear but then you can confirm in the Bible too.
(B) What should pastors survive on if not tithes and offerings?
If your pastor is preaching the second coming of Jesus, why is he not operating like John the Baptist?
John the Baptist preached the first coming and he was not paid, he lived a simple life and had no personal possessions except his walking aid and the piece of material that covered his body. Your pastor doesn’t need a salary to preach a message that is free; your pastor doesn’t need a jet to preach a message that is free. All pastors need only a bible and good health to spread the word of god just as John the Baptist did.
Africa has so many people trying to survive in a difficult continent that’s why they steal from government, cheat in business, and encourage people to invest in Ponzi schemes. Those immoral means of making money are bad but then the most evil mean of making money is through the pulpit; pulpit hustling is unacceptable and Jesus-if he existed- wouldn’t be happy with any of the African pastors today.
Paying tithes and offerings is not a preaching of Jesus Christ and you should despise and chastise the pulpit Pharisees much like Jesus did in the Bible.

Political Correctness: “Idol worship” fast growing in Anambra, says Soludo

The Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has said “idolatry” is fast growing in the state, especially among the youths. Referring to the culture and tradition of his forefathers as an “idol”, – a defamatory statement against the culture and tradition of the people. Not only that but also a double standard way of looking at it. A foreign or imported culture whose cross many people carry as a crest on their chest, but that is not idol worship. Soludo, ...
