Nurburgring is a standout amongst the most famously difficult race courses on the planet at best. When it’s hailing and the climate turns awful, it deteriorates.
Many racecars slammed and were destroyed this weekend while monstrous hail pieces and exuberant downpour pelted the world popular Ring. Albeit terrible climate was figure, drivers and race coordinators weren’t expecting a hail tempest that genuinely frustrated visibility and made the course an slippery mess.
It was a major weekend at Nordschleife, as well, as the 24 Hours of Nurburgring was being held. The race had to be halted for unsafe conditions and didn’t continue until late. The awful climate began less than an hour into the race, and almost 25 autos had slammed only a few laps in.
