If I told you that Olodumare was an abstraction and that Ela was his only son, then there’s no question that Ela is an abstraction just like his father, Olodumare. It’s impossible for Ela to have existed as a historical figure or a corporeal being, for Olodumare, Ela’s father, is an abstract concept – an abstraction can only create another abstraction; an abstraction cannot create a historical human being.
Anyway, to the extent that Christ is said to be the son of an abstract entity, like Ela, the historical existence of Christ can be dismissed using the same reason and rationale as in Ela’s myth above. A mythical personage that never lived could not have resurrected!
