Lagos Court Frees Babalakin over ₦4.7billion alleged Fraud

A Lagos state high court has acquitted the Chairman of Bi-Courtney Limited Mr Wale Babalakin, over a N4.7billion misrepresentation affirmations brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He was cleared today.

Mr Babablakin close by his helper, Alex Okoh, were captured in 2012 by the EFCC over allegations that the men pocket N4.7billion from the Delta state government coffers in the interest of James Ibori, the sentenced ex-gov. of Delta state.
