Pics: Sokoto state gov. sign MOU with Chinese Agricultural firm

Sokoto government today signed a memorandum of understanding with a Chinese firm, Henan Province of China, for the establishment of a demonstration farm and boosting of agriculture in the state.

As indicated by the governor of Sokoto state , Aminu Tambuwal’s representative, Imam, this understanding has made Sokoto one of the recipients of the 100 farming tasks to be sited in creating nations which was reported by the Chinese President, Ji Xinping amid the South-South Cooperation meeting held in September 2015.

The arrangement will see to the application of new innovation for development of harvests, for example, corn, wheat, tomatoes and onions.
