Tompolo’s meeting with MEND members stopped as troops close down conference location

The proposed MEND meeting which was booked to hold at the beginning of today did not hold as officers supposedly closed the Ijaw House, venue of the proposed meeting on the requests of the state senator, Dickson Seriake. Sources at the governors office say Seriake had sent a letter to MEND individuals proposing to meet with them at a later date to discuss their grievances.
