Mali’s 1st confirmed Ebola Patient, a 2-year-old girl Dies: Reports

The 1st confirmed Ebola patient in Mali, a 2-year-old girl, has died, CNN reported.

The kid, who recently arrived to Mali from Guinea, was identified as having Ebola Thursday. She died Friday, based on CNN.On Friday, the World Health Organization (WHO) stated that the lady was exposed to numerous others who would have contacted the virus from her although they showed no Ebola symptoms yet. Ebola’s incubation period is as much as 21 days.

The Ebola virus is transmitted through direct connection with the bodily fluids of the infected. The present Ebola outbreak began in southern Guinea initially of this season and later spread to Liberia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, and Senegal. Nigeria has managed to contain the virus. The first country to contain the virus.
Based on WHO, 4,877 persons have lost their lives to Ebola, with 9,936 confirmed, likely and suspected cases having been reported in Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Spain and the United States.
