Yemeni Missiles Hit Facilities Of Saudi Oil Company Aramco

Yemeni ballistic missiles were fired at facilities of Aramco, a Saudi state oil company, in the southwest of Saudi Arabia.
On Friday, the Yemeni forces fired ballistic missiles at facilities of Aramco, a Saudi state oil company, located in the southwest of Saudi Arabia, the al-Masirah TV channel reported. The attack took place in Saudi Arabia’s Jizan region and caused a great damage to the facilities of Aramco, located there.

Also on August 26, residential areas of the district of Baqim in northwestern Yemen province of Sa’ada were struck by Saudi fighters. As result, 11 people were killed.

A day earlier, a market in the same district was hit by the Saudi Forces. Seven people were killed, while 10 others were wounded, many of whom are in critical condition.

On Thursday, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, said that the Saudi Armed Forces used cluster bombs in residential areas of Yemen, violating international law in this way. He also blamed the Riyadh regime for the most part of the civilian casualties in the neighboring southern region.

Yemen and Saudi Arabia are involved in an armed conflict since March of the last year. Saudi Arabia seeks to restore the power of Yemeni former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, who is a staunch ally of Riyadh, and undermine Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement. About 10,000 people, mostly civilians, have been killed during the Saudi military aggression.
