INEC Chairman Prof. Jega showed up before the National Assembly this evening to clarify why the race was deferred furthermore show how they would utilize card perusers amid the races.

Identifying with individuals from the Senate, Prof Jega discussed government officials who are reputed to have purchased PVCs in a few parts of Nigeria like in Ebonyi state where around 300 PVCs were stolen. He said that taking PVCs is a pointless activity as the cards would be futile amid races.

He said the individuals who have stolen cards are just disappointing individuals as just those with tenable PVC’s eventual authorize amid the decisions.
