Jigawa State is a state in North West Nigeria. It is one of the 36 states in Nigeria created in 1991. Jigawa State is the eighth largest state in Nigeria by population. Jigawa state is characterized predominantly by the Hausas and Fulani background.

Gov. Badaru wasn’t joking when he said jigawa state is 100% in support of Tinubu/Shettima.
