Presidency to scale down the ₦500bn budgeted for poverty alleviation

The Special Adviser to President on Social Investments, Maryam Uwais, disclosed this yesterday in Abuja at an event to monitor the FG Social Protection Programme and Sustainable Development Goal. She said it became necessary because government was not getting enough revenue it envisaged when the programme was designed.
