Saraki who reacted to Nigerians on Twitter said he endorsed the training for senators and their associates on the grounds that it was totally free.
“Facebook offered to train Senators & their aides ABSOLUTELY FREE on how to effectively use the platform. I approved,” he replied to a tweet.
“@bukolasaraki pls how much is that going to cost the @NGRSenate?” Adesoji Gabriel asked and Saraki responded with “Not a single kobo”.

It would be recalled that on Thursday in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, Sen. Isa Galaudu stated that senators are to receive free Facebook training.
The Chief of Staff to the President of the Senate said this in a letter sent to the senators inviting them for the event.
“Senators and their aides receive training on use of facebook in line with the promise of the President of the Senate to ensure more representative legislature using e-parliamentary tools.
“This is a partnership between the Office of the Senate President and Facebook.
“Senators and aides who wish to participate in the programme should please email grsenatesocial@gmail.com with their full names.”
