Nigeria is a corrupt country but the administration of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan stinks to high heavens for corruption . There is no word to describe how bad things have been before the inception of Buhari’s administration with effect from May 29, 2015. Both the Executive and the Legislative Arms of Government were made up of marauders, bandits and brigands. particularly the females in the cabinet who would have been more trusted for piety, honesty , integrity, and accountability than their counterparts. Of course, they also held the most juicy portfolios like Finance-Dr. Ngozi Okonjo -Iweala; Petroleum Resources-Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke; and Aviation-Mrs. Stella Oduah.

These bandits looted, plundered, pillaged, and marauded the natural resources of the country, oil, gas etc, etc. Every one of them particularly the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke , took, took and took, that they have big foreign accounts and lots of money stashed in Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany, UK, Panama, Cayman Islands, Marshall Islands and Mauritius to mention but few. They have dachas in Miami and holiday resorts in Las Vegas, Brazil and Paris. They are bloated by flatulency of ill-gotten wealth at the expense of average Nigerians who are needy, indigent, destitute, disfavored, completely penniless and chronically impoverished because it is their money that have been stolen by these masterful bureaucratic politicians and thorough-going credit-robbers

Mrs. Alison-Madueke was so emboldened as to institute legal action against the National Assembly for performing their oversight function of carrying out investigation on NNPC, a Parastatal organization supervised by her Ministry.. She kept idle jets paid for by Nigerian taxpayers. It would be recalled that this Organization was culpable for the missing $20 billion oil money. She was also responsible for processing subsidy to oil marketers

She even has the obscene effrontery and grandiloquent bluff of offering $250 million so that she may not be investigated , when it is known that this is a drop of water in the ocean. She must regurgitate all the stolen money and must also do the time for the crime committed, as well as betrayal of honor reposed in her.
