A Koenigsegg One:1 has crashes at the Nurburgring.

A graphic of the wrecked Koenigsegg One:1 first appeared on Instagram and now the Swedish automaker has confirmed that it happened during testing within Industry Pool at the world-famous track. The driver of the car was taken fully to a medical facility and premiered the same afternoon.  The company has take part in Industry Pool testing for a week in all the last 8 weeks, taking care of vehicle setups for ongoing vehicle development and towards a possible Nurburgring lap record in the future.

Although the company is “dismayed with this specific development,” it’s pleased that the safety systems in the Koenigsegg One:1 worked as designed to safeguard the driver.
