BMW gave its 2002 Hommage Concept a brand new look for the 2016 Monterey Car Week.
Built to pay for tribute to the first BMW 2002 turbo, the BMW 2002 Hommage Concept originally bowed at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in May. However the German automaker wanted to make it even bolder for the 2016 Monterey Car Week, hoping of standing out in a sea of luxury and exotics. And stand out it did, with a fantastic orange and black paint scheme, as the wheels have now been finished in gold. Graphics have now been added through the body of the vehicle, paying respects to the initial series-produced vehicle in Europe with a turbocharged engine.
The retro-styling of the BMW 2002 Hommage Concept has made it to be a fan favorite among enthusiasts, and all we are able to hope is that BMW decides to create a limited production version of it one day.
