House of Rep. members donate ₦18m to Nigeria’s paralympians .

Yesterday, the members of House of Representatives resolved to donate the amount of N50,000 each to the Nigeria Paralympics Team that won 12 medals for the country at the just concluded Rio Paralympics Games in Brazil.

Whilst in plenary, the House adopted a motion by Rep Ayo Omidiran, APC, Osun, saying the team deserved the support of the lawmakers, because of the unprecedented medals won by them. The Lawmakers also resolved to host them at a unique plenary session.
