Four indicators that snakes may be present in a home without the owner’s knowledge are shared by a snake specialist.

Dr. Mark Ofua, the founder of Saint Mark’s Animal Hospital in Lagos, has revealed certain indicators that a snake may be hiding in a room or that multiple snakes may be present in a home.
The enthusiastic veterinarian, who has been a snake expert since 2014, also mentioned that snakes are silent, primordial animals that can dwell in homes for years without being noticed.
Mark continued by outlining four indicators that could indicate that a person has snakes in their home and cautioned those who don’t comprehend.

Lagos, Nigeria: Dr. Mark Ofua, a seasoned wildlife conservator and snake specialist, has cautioned that it is possible to coexist with a snake for years without realizing it.


Ofua was responding to the horrific death of artist Ifunanya, also known as Nanya Music, who was tragically bitten by a snake and passed away in the hospital after not receiving the proper care.

According to Ofua, the founder of Saint Mark’s Animal Hospital in Lagos, a snake can survive in a person’s womb undetected.

Ofua claims that coming across odd excrement is one sign that a stranger is in the house. Now, the only method to find out whether you have a rogue snake living wild in your home is to look for unusual excrement, such as the snake’s excrement,” he stated.

A person may be living with a snake for a considerable amount of time if they hear rustling noises coming from a room’s cupboard.

Ofua claims that the sound will be audible if the snake is moving among utensils or other items in your cabinet or storeroom.

What did Ofua say regarding the noises made by the snake?
The sound a snake makes when it catches a rodent or frog and the animal begins to squeal in an attempt to escape is a third indication.

“They produce a specific sound. You look into it after hearing that. He stated, “Those are the ways you can know that there is a snake in that house.”

He explained, “These guys [snakes] are silent, they time your movements, they know when you are around and when to move, and they can live with you for years without you realizing it.”

There will also be some noise when a snake is attempting to capture a rat in the ceiling. If you don’t pay attention to the sound, you won’t know and will coexist with the snake for years.
