Oodua (Yoruba) ancestors were using this in the 1900s to Lagos, Our mothers used using to transport their food crops from every hinter Oodua (Yoruba) land, while our grandfathers were using Agbe ki lodo to bring timber to Lagos for onward sale to the western world.

That was the beginning of Lagos a 21st-century melting and commerce center for Oodua (Yoruba) people. Many settled and gave birth in Lagos. But their great-grandchildren today either from Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara, Kogi, Osun, or Oyo with the exception of Ogun live in the same room as me. None of their children will claim Lagos as their origin. That is how proud the Oodua (Yoruba) people are. Be proud of your ancestors. I am Oodua (Yoruba) and Proud.
