OBJ Visits Benue State (See pics)

Former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo today arrived the Makurdi Airport for a 3 days trip to Benue.

The former president who’s currently a Ph.D student of University of Mkar, Mkar is expected in which to stay Benue for 3 days for lectures and communicate with his project supervisor Revd. Dr. Stephen Tachin (State SUBEB chairman).

The former president was received at the Makurdi airport by the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Benue State Mr. Terwase Orbunde, Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment Dr. Tersoo Kpelai, that of education, Prof. Dennis Tyavyar, Health, Mrs. Cecilia Ojabo, Advisor on Special duties, Arch. Joe Ikyaagba, SUBEB chairman, Revd. Dr. Stephen Tachin and other top Government functionaries.

The former president proceeded directly to the Benue People’s House where he’s expected to generally meet with His Excellency, Dr. Samuel Ortom who’s likely to be back Makurdi this evening.
