Married policeman and his married NSCDC mistress, killed by generator fume

On Saturday, an Inspector and a father-of-three and his lover, Ifeoma, a member of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC and a mother-of-five were found dead in apartment of the policeman at Ezinifite Okpuno village in Awka South LGA, Anambra State.

They’re allegedly killed by fumes from a power generating set. According to information, Ifeoma had told her husband that she was attending a church vigil, only to end up in her lover’s house, nearby. It was gathered that the policeman’s family lived in Lagos, while Ifeoma’s family stayed in Awka.

An eyewitness said: “The woman spent the night with her police lover, but both did not wake up until a labourer, who was to work for the deceased policeman, came in the morning and discovered their bodies. On discovering the bodies, the labourer rushed out and alerted neighbours. 

The neighbours followed the labourers to the apartment and confirmed the incident before a relative locked up the compound to prevent the large number of people trooping access to the apartment.” .

One of the policeman’s neighbours said: “I heard the sound of the generator until 4a.m. That may be when the fuel finished. I was surprised when we were told that two people died in the flat.” Security operatives later arrived at the scene, dispersed everybody and took the corpses away in an ambulance.
