‘Falz the Fela of this generation’ – Nigerians react to MURIC’s call for Falz’s ‘#ThisIsNigeria’ video ban (Photos/Video)

Following threats by the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) to drag Nigerian rapper, Falz to court over his “inciting” video titled “This is Nigeria”, Nigerians took to social media to talk about thoughts about the matter.

In line with the group, the narrative of the video is not merely inciting, additionally, it promotes negative stereotype against Fulanis, Chibok Girls and Muslim.

MURIC gave a seven-day ultimatum to Falz to withdraw the video and apologise to Nigerians, or face legal actions.

The Management of Bahd Guy Records, Falz’s Management however stood their ground, stating vehimently that will not retract the video.
