Remembering Famous Balogun (Generals) of Yoruba Land.

    1) Balogun Oderinlo of Ibadan – Conquered the Fulanis in Osogbo.
    2) Balogun Ibikunle of Ibadan – defeated the treacherous Aare Ona Kakanfo Kurumi of Ijaye.
    3) Balogun Akere of Ibadan – died while fighting against the Ijesha army in the Kiriji war.
    4) Balogun Orowusi of Ibadan – defeated the Ijesha army.
    5) Balogun Ogunbona of Egba land – conquered the Dahomey army.
    6) Balogun Osungboekun of Ibadan – replaced Latoosa in the Ekiti Parapo/Kiriji war.
    7) Balogun Olasile of Ijaye – served and died with his boss, Aare Ona Kakanfo Kurumi.
    8) Balogun Singusee of Ile Ife – conquered the old Owu town.
    9) Balogun Kuku of Ijebu land – 1st Balogun to fight against the British.
    10) Balogun Ajikobi of Ilorin – fought against Alaafin Oluewu and the Oba Ibariba. But he was later caught as a prisoner of war while fighting alongside the Fulanis at the battle of Osogbo war. He was then taken to Oyo, where he was mercilessly sprayed with bullets until he died.
