Things happen in Nigeria, and you just can’t but laugh.

Suddenly, Ipob and GEJites have fallen in love with Sanusi more than Buharists. Who knows? One day they will love Oshiomhole pass us too.

Love is strange. …
They started by hating him and wishing him all the evil on earth for exposing their hero, and helping Buhari and the APC to power. They hated him…..they wanted him to meet with evil!

Then, they heard that he was being tried for corruption long after he had become emir. They followed the case with keen interest. “He is a thief after all, he accused Jonathan”, they were happy that he was going to be prosecuted for stealing….but they believed more that it was all politics and witch haunt. They forgave him, and backed him against those who wanted to “tarnish” his image.

And suddenly, they heard that presidency intervened….that northern elders intervened….and case was withdrawn from court…..they became angry. They hated him again, they also hated those who tried to cover up his crime, especially Mr Integrity…..for not allowing the case to go on.

After that, they loved him again when he began speaking to northern elites and to powers that be. They loved him when they knew that he supported Gamduje’s opponent in the last election.

Fortunately or unfortunately, they didn’t have another chance to hate him again since Buhari refused to come to his aid again.

Now that he is gone, he has emerged their number one hero.

One day, they will love Oshiomhole and Oshiomhole will be their hero. Let Baba just act one day like he hates Oshiomhole and wants him out at all costs, then they will fall in love with Osho. You will wonder where the love suddenly came from. You will hear GEJites and the Atikulated lecture us on the many virtues of Oshiomhole, and the many battles he fought for the APC.

Who on earth would have ever believed that these same people would fall in love with Atiku and hero-worship him after the way they wished him dead for helping APC to power in 2015?

For them, their love or their hate swings like the pendulum. ..it is here now, there later….it is like the mood of a woman….unpredictable….. you never know what it would be like the next second.
